Daniel
Daniel absolutely loves the joy and creativity the Pinot and Picasso brand brings to his customers. Daniel loves it so much that he decided one Pinot and Picasso studio wasn’t enough, so he decided to own six different studios across NSW and the ACT! Talk about a brand advocate. He was drawn to Belconnen as it was a fantastic regional area with so much potential for artistic experiences.
FAQ
- Where are you located?
-
Pinot and Picasso Belconnen is located in the Belconnen Churches Centre, which is right next to Westfield Belconnen on Benjamin Way.
- Can I purchase alcoholic beverages near the studio?
-
Yes you can! Both Dan Murphy’s and BWS are located next door in Westfield – very close to our paint and sip studio.
- Do you offer catering?
-
Yes, our paint and sip studio can offer a range of fresh catering for all private functions. We are partnered with our neighbours at 54 Benjamin.
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?
-
Our sip and paint Belconnen studio has plenty of food options nearby! You can find many options along Emu Bank or in Westfield.
Pinot and Picasso Belconnen is also a short distance from drinking venues such as The Lighthouse Pub and The Pot Belly. Our neighbours next door at 54 Benjamin also do fantastic coffee, lunch and cocktails.
- What are your parking options?
-
Unfortunately our location has very limited on-street parking (insert Kim Kardashian crying meme here).
We recommend parking at Westfield Belconnen (Entry on Cohen St and go right), which connects directly to our Pinot & Picasso Belconnen building via a footbridge. Alternatively, there is another car park located on the corner of Cameron Ave and Benjamin Way which is a three-minute walk to the paint and sip studio.
Our studio is located in the Belconnen Churches centre. You’ll find us on the ground floor, with the studio entry tucked underneath the stairs, next to the cafe 54 Benjamin.
We recommend arriving a bit earlier to allow enough time to find a park and make your way to our Belconnen paint and sip studio so you can get your paint brushes ready and drinks poppin’.
- What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?
-
We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?
-
We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our paint and sip studios.
If you have any other special requests please put the details into the booking notes ! We want everyone to have the best experience possible at Pinot & Picasso. - What do I wear to a night at Pinot & Picasso?
-
We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your paint and sip a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?
-
Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
