Paint and Sip | Pinot & Picasso Hobart
The Studio
Pinot and Picasso Hobart is Tasmania’s top-rated paint and sip destination and we’re all about having a creatively fun time.
Pinot & Picasso Hobart is the perfect place for unleashing your inner artist and letting your creativity flow. With our paint and sip events, you’ll enjoy sipping on your favourite beverage while creating a masterpiece that would make Picasso himself jealous!
We’re not just known for our paint and sip art classes, but also for our awesome partners like Hobart Yacht Club, Stay Chatty, Jimmy and Nath from Hit 100.9 (radio), and even local schools for fundraising nights. We love getting involved with our community and sharing the joy of art with everyone.
We don’t just cater to the grown-ups; we’ve got pint-sized Picasso sessions during school holidays, where little hands can create big masterpieces. It’s the perfect chance for kids and their parents to bond over art, laughter, and maybe even a few friendly paintbrush flicks.

Jordan, Jackson & Charlie
In 2021, Jordan, Jackson, and Charlie established a studio in Hobart to offer entertainment to the local community. The owners take pleasure in witnessing how the studio effortlessly transforms into a lively and social hub, while also serving as a space for individuals to unleash their creativity. Our belief is that this experience accommodates people of all age groups, and we are thrilled to have already welcomed numerous residents through our doors.
At present, the guys are incredibly fortunate to have a remarkable group of highly skilled artists who are adept at tailoring their talents to various events.
FAQ
- Where are you located?
-
Pinot and Picasso Hobart is located at 7/9 Franklin Wharf, between Brooke St Pier and Elizabeth Street Pier, across the road from the Mona Ferry, and a few doors down from Post Street Social. Wheelchair access is via Morrison Street.
- Can I purchase alcoholic beverages near the studio?
-
Yes! There is a Drink Co and 9/11 bottle shop near the Hobart sip and paint studio.
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?
-
We may be biased here, but our favourite restaurants nearby are Frank and Ti AMA. For local bars, we suggest visiting Post Street Social, Cargo, Grape or Franklin Wharf.
- What are your parking options?
-
If you are driving to your paint and sip session at our Hobart studio – there is paid parking around Salamanca.
- Do you offer catering?
-
Pinot and Picasso Hobart work with a local Caterer, Shayne Lewis who provides all catering needs to our private functions, upon request.
- What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?
-
We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?
-
We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our paint and sip studios.
If you have any other special requests please put the details into the booking notes ! We want everyone to have the best experience possible at Pinot & Picasso. - What do I wear to a night at Pinot & Picasso?
-
We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your paint and sip a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?
-
Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
