Pinot and Picasso Thornbury in Melbourne provides a safe, fun and creative space for people of all ages and abilities. Our paint and sip classes allow you to take on some of the basic (and some more advanced) techniques of painting on canvas, in a hassle-free, approachable and collaborative setting.

We offer Autism Friendly classes and Mindfulness Sessions for those looking for a relaxing and low-stimulus activity at Pinot & Picasso Thornbury.
Our Pinot and Picasso Thornbury studio is ideal for hosting parties and events! You can book the entire studio for hens parties, birthdays, kids parties, team-building events, baby showers and so much more. Pierre’s Art Club (PAC )
Pierre’s Art Club is a term-based art program where kids will learn from a range of mediums, techniques and understanding to find their own creative expression. We firmly believe that given the right materials and guidance, we may very well be able to see the next generation of artists come through our doors.
Located in our Pinot & Picasso Thornbury studio, we have a range of classes for kids aged 6-17.

Pinot and Picasso Thornbury is owned and managed by a mother-daughter duo from Reservoir. With Billie's business experience and Em's art therapy background, we wanted to contribute to the already thriving art and culture of Thornbury and the northern suburbs.
Our mission is to provide a space for people of all ages and abilities to be creative. We hope to see you at our Sip and Paint Thornbury studio soon!

Our Pinot & Picasso Thornbury Studio is located at 841 High St, Thornbury VIC 3071.
Our drink and paint Thornbury studio is a five minute walk from Thornbury Station, and accessible via the Number 86 Tram.
- Can I purchase alcoholic beverages near the studio?

We’re lucky to have a variety of options to get bevvies before your paint and sip class in Thornbury. You can visit Carwyn Cellars, Bespoke Wine and Spirits and BWS Preston South.
- Do you offer catering?

For $55, we offer a delicious grazing box for two people. You can add this to your session before heading to the checkout on our website!
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?

Got some time before or after your paint and sip Thornbury session? Some great local venues we recommend include Capers, Thornbury Taphouse, GRK Restaurant and Bar, and Joanie’s Baretto.
- What are your parking options?

We have limited parking available on High Street and the surrounding streets. We recommend leaving enough time for parking before your Pinot and Picasso Thornbury session so you don’t arrive fashionably late!
- What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?

We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?

We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our paint and sip studios.

We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your paint and sip a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?

Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
