Welcome to the New Era of Pinot and Picasso

Not all things are black and white, including a brand. 

Pinot & Picasso was born in 2018 in the heart of Penrith. Two young lads took on the challenge of bringing creativity and fun into their hometown. They brought a new experience to thousands of people searching for a unique way to make meaningful memories with friends, family, their partner or even just themselves. They found a combination that has stood the test of time; a glass of Pinot and getting arty (not quite) like Picasso. From here, a brand was formed, and guests began to recognise our black and white logo as a foundation for the colour to cover their canvas. 

Our OG branding you know and love

After six years of the brand you’ve come to know and love, we realised that there is in fact, a lot that can be said about what happens in our sessions beyond the canvas. We realised it is what happens in between the brush strokes that gives Pinot & Picasso its soul. It’s our guests starting a group sing-along to ABBA (Dancing Queen to be precise). It’s corporate groups cheering on Greg from HR as he paints for the first time (well outside of his comfort zone). It’s the laughter that erupts when the paintbrush lands in the wine glass that all adds to the soul of Pinot & Picasso. We thought about these moments frequently and knew we needed to create a brand that reflected these moments – the soul missing in our black and white logo & brand colours. 

In 2022, our team decided to embark on the journey of rebranding. For anyone in the mood to rebrand their business (or themselves), strap in for one hell of a journey of self-discovery. We played around with different colours, shapes, and designs and really looked at what our customers love and need from our studios; it was fun. With a new logo, new colours, new aprons and our studios slowly beginning to adopt our modern and fresh approach to paint & sip; you can see that Pinot & Picasso has entered a new era of creativity. 

Cheers to good times

Perhaps our favourite addition to the brand is our new mascot, Pierre. Our cheeky wine and painting enthusiast, Pierre is the newest member of our Head Office team, creating artworks and experiences from his own many worldly travels and adventures. Pierre is the soul of Pinot & Picasso. He loves good times and great classic hits, and you would be sure to find him on the dance floor. Pierre will feature in many places, including our website, social media, and maybe even in the studio (if he isn’t busy travelling).

Our new logo has a nostalgic feel, paired with an iconic red wine colour to stand out amongst the crowd (and pay homage to the Pinot that got us here). You will begin to see more of our new brand colours throughout studios, as well as more and more art features and prints. 

So yes, it is still the Pinot & Picasso you know and love. We may look a little different, dare we say a little more modern and cheeky, but nonetheless, we are committed to ensuring we deliver an incredible experience to our guests every week. We can’t wait to see you in our studios soon to ‘Master the art of Fun’.
