As a local family who has called Warrandyte home for over 15 years, we’ve always been deeply connected to our community. Through our involvement in local charities, sporting groups, and schools, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible spirit and creativity that make this town so special.
With over 25 years of corporate business experience, we’ve always dreamed of opening a space of our own - a place where creativity, connection, and fun come together. That dream has now come to life with our studio, which we believe will be a perfect addition to the already vibrant artistic community here in Warrandyte.
Our team is made up of passionate locals who share a love for helping others explore their creativity. Whether you're here to create, learn, or simply enjoy the process, we’re committed to providing a relaxed and welcoming environment where everyone can feel at home.

Located in the heart of Warrandyte on Yarra Street, we are direct above Ember Dining, next door to Now and Not Yet Cafe, and 50 metres up from The Grand Hotel.
Our beautiful heritage timber doors open to a staircase leading to our first floor art studio – just to the left of Ember Dining restaurant.

The famous Grand Hotel is only 50 metres walk away and has a limited bottle shop, we also have Quinton’s SUPA IGA which is a 3 minute drive away offering a large range of all your favourite bevvies to grab before your paint and sip class in our beautiful Warrandyte studio.
- Do you offer catering?
-
Yes, we offer catering for private sessions, so reach out for more information!
- Are there local restaurants and bars nearby?
-
Our studio is nestled directly above one of Warrandyte’s most cherished dining spots, Ember Dining, renowned for its exceptional cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Just a short 50-metre stroll away, you’ll find The Grand Hotel, a multi-award-winning pub that is a local favourite. With its lively environment and welcoming atmosphere, it offers the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal or drink.
But the great dining options don’t stop there! Our paint and sip studio is surrounded by a variety of fantastic eateries. If you’re in the mood for delicious Japanese cuisine, Ichimi Sake Japanese Restaurant is just around the corner, offering a rich and flavourful experience. For those craving something hearty, Ruffles Burgers & Grill is an excellent choice, serving up juicy burgers and grill favourites. Bocca Family Pizza Restaurant offers mouth-watering, authentic pizzas & pastas, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

-
There are plenty of options for parking close by – street parking direct in front of the studio & across Yarra Street.
– The Warrandyte River Reserve Car Park is 50 metres wall away at 169 Yarra Street.
– Behind the Warrandyte Library, turn into car park from Webb Street. - What time should I arrive and how long are the sessions?
-
We recommend arriving at the studio 10 minutes before the session commences as to give you plenty of time to get comfortable, set up, and get the wines flowing. The estimated running time is between 2 – 3hrs.
- If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?
-
We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together. We like to operate under the mantra ‘first in best dressed’ when it comes to seating in our paint and sip studios.
If you have any other special requests please put the details into the booking notes ! We want everyone to have the best experience possible at Pinot & Picasso. - What do I wear to a night at Pinot & Picasso?
-
We like to keep our arty parties fun and exciting. Whether you choose to dress up, make your paint and sip a theme, or just attend for a date night on the weekend we expect you to wear what feels comfortable. As our experience does involve paint (shocking! I hope we mentioned this earlier) we do encourage you to not wear anything you would be disappointed if paint ended up on. Or couldn’t be dry cleaned. Our artists will provide you with aprons to wear during the session to minimise any accidental paint mistakes.
- Is there a fridge & glassware?
-
Yes, our Pinot & Picasso studios all have a fridge inside their studio to keep drinks cold! We also have glassware too so no need to bring plastic cups!
